The Beaufort has been a Barbour cornerstone since 1983, and the Modern Beaufort reworks it for genuinely cold weather. It keeps the 6oz waxed cotton outer of the original but adds a box-quilted insulated lining and a detachable hood, with a more tailored cut that layers cleanly over a sport coat or sweater. In navy with a Shadow Classic tartan, it is a sharper, cold-weather take on a true classic.
